Enjoy what promises to be a very special evening and a very spiritual note on which to begin the season of Advent. Fuaimlaoi was formed by composer Ronan McDonagh in 2006 to promote and develop liturgical music rooted in the Irish tradition. It comprises a dynamic group of talented singers and instrumentalists. Fuaimlaoi is a poetic joining of two Irish words: fuaim – meaning sound, and laoi – an old epic narrative poem, lyric or canticle. Linking both evokes a sense of the sound of our ancient spiritual song. Tickets €10 available after Sunday Mass or at the door on the night. |
